WARNING LAMPS AND BUZZERS — Warning Buzzer — Location / Replacement
EL-95prose procedureTwo buzzers in one location: 'Lights ON' (warns lights left on with key out) and 'N·CVT' (warns key left in IGN with CVT not in P). Single replacement covers both functions.
Warning Buzzer — Location
NOTE
The "Lights ON" and "N·CVT" Warning Buzzers are attached to the back of the instrument console parcel shelf, below the steering column.
• The Buzzer contains no serviceable parts, replace as a complete unit.
Warning Buzzer — Replacement
- 1Disconnect battery negative cable from battery.
- 2Remove screws (2 off) from driver side parcel shelf. (Refer to BF section)
- 3Pull shelf forward.
- 4Remove buzzer from bracket at rear of shelf.
UEL175 - 5Disconnect connector.
- 6Refit new buzzer in reverse sequence to removal.
