EXTERIOR LAMPS — Turn Signal and Hazard Warning Lamps — Wiring Diagram (Supplement-VII)
EL-7025wiring diagramTurn + hazard combined wiring. Same architecture as Supplement-VI but with refreshed connector IDs and the unified CONNECTOR M14 cells 35U/45U for the two fuse-block-output feeds.
Turn Signal and Hazard Warning Lamps / Wiring Diagram
NOTE
Combined turn-signal and hazard wiring. Two power sources:
• Turn signal: IGN-on via 10A fuse position 11 → TURN SIGNAL SWITCH → COMBINATION FLASHER UNIT → LH or RH bus.
• Hazard: Battery via 10A fuse position 15 → HAZARD SWITCH (bypasses ignition) → COMBINATION FLASHER UNIT → both LH and RH buses simultaneously.
COMBINATION FLASHER UNIT M43 is a single shared module (it generates the flash signal); the user-side switches (TURN SIGNAL SWITCH for turn, HAZARD SWITCH for hazard) gate which bus(es) it drives.
Four lamps per side flash in parallel: front + rear + side + cluster indicator. Same bus colour (G/Y or G/W) carries the flasher signal through all four loads.
WARNING
Hazard works with ignition OFF — directly battery-fed via 10A fuse position 15. Turn signals work only with ignition ON — 10A fuse position 11. This is a critical diagnostic distinction when troubleshooting 'turn signals don't work but hazards do' or vice versa.
