EL-46wiring diagramUnverifiedDim-dip is a UK-market-only feature (UK Statutory Instrument 1989/1796): low-beam runs at ~10% intensity while side lights are on and ignition is ON, to deter drivers from running on side lights only. Same low-beam filament — control unit just current-limits.
Operation
NOTE
When ignition switch is in the "ON" position with the lighting switch in the "1ST" position, the headlamp low beam comes on dimly to function as a clearance lamp. Lighting switch operations other than the above are the same as conventional light systems.
