EL-41prose procedureEach stalk lifts off independently — only the switch-base swap requires removing the steering wheel.
Replacement
NOTE
• Each switch can be removed from the switch base while still in place on the steering column.
- 1Remove 4 screws from underside of steering column cover and remove cover.
UEL047 - 2Remove switches by pinching top and bottom fixing wings and pulling switch out from switch base.
- 3Remove connectors from switch assembly.
NOTE
• To remove combination switch base
- 1Remove switches as described above.
- 2Remove steering wheel (refer to ST section).
- 3Undo attaching screw and pull switch base off of steering column.
