Helpful when probing the back of the cluster — the function-to-pin lookup saves looking up the matrix every time. Note that ABS goes through the SMJ and the ABS CU is in the engine bay (grounds at E55/E39), while N·CVT goes via the EGI harness through the boot/transmission area.

Pin mapping into the combination meter:
• Pin 27 — ANTI-LOCK (driven by A.B.S. control unit, Y/B + LG/B via S.M.J. cells A14/B1)
• Pin 7 — OIL (driven by oil pressure switch, Y/G via engine room R.H.)
• Pin 6 — CHARGE (driven by alternator L, Y/R via engine harness no. 2 + inline E8)
• Pin 12 — BRAKE (driven by parking brake switch || brake fluid level switch, P/G + B)
• Pin 9 — FUEL (driven by fuel tank gauge unit, LG/B)
• Pin 30 — N·CVT (driven by N·CVT control unit, PU via E.G.I. harness inline F23/M19)
• Pin 26 is meter ground common.
