NATS / Gasoline engine — CONSULT-II (Cont'd) — Diagnostic Test Mode Function / How to read self-diagnosis results
EL-7060prose procedureTIME column is unique to NATS self-diag — counts drive cycles since the fault was last seen, so a '5' means it hasn't been seen in 5 drives. C/U initialization erases all registered key IDs — must collect ALL customer keys before initializing.

CONSULT-II (Cont'd)
CONSULT-II DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODE FUNCTION
C/U INITIALIZATION
DescriptionWhen replacing any of the following components, C/U initialization and re-registration of all NATS ignition keys are necessary. [NATS ignition key / IMMU / ECM]
SELF-DIAG RESULTS
DescriptionDetected items (screen terms) are as shown in the chart below.
NOTE
When any initialization is performed, all ID previously registered will be erased. So all NATS ignition keys must be registered again.
The engine cannot be started with an unregistered key. In this case, the system may show "DIFFERENCE OF KEY" or "LOCK MODE" as a self-diagnostic result on the CONSULT-II screen.
HOW TO READ SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULTS
NOTE
Self-Diag results are displayed as a two-column table: DTC RESULTS (item name) + TIME (drive cycles since last detection). "0" in the TIME column means the malfunction is currently detected; higher numbers mean the fault occurred N drives ago. If "Scroll Down" is indicated, there are four or more items in the list. "ERASE" clears the stored results in the ECM; "PRINT" prints them.
