NOTE
Master relay identification chart for base K11. The case-colour-to-application mapping is the key diagnostic reference for finding the right relay in the fuse/relay box:
• GREY = Horn (1M, 3-pin)
• GREEN = EGI / Fuel Pump (1M, 5-pin)
• BLACK (1M) = the workhorse 5-pin Bosch-style relay used for radiator fan, fog lamps, defog, CVT, inhibit, accessory, ignition 1/2 — terminals 30/85/86/87
• BLACK (1T) = transfer-type for idle-up, rear wiper, ignition 3
• BROWN = A/C (2M, 7-pin double-make)
Note: Supplement-VI/VII changed several case colours (e.g. Horn GREY→White, Fuel pump GREEN→Blue). This base-K11 chart is authoritative for early cars.
WARNING
Case colour disambiguates two 1M relays sharing the box: GREY=horn (3-pin) vs GREEN=EGI/fuel-pump (5-pin) vs BLACK=everything else. The 1T BLACK relay LOOKS like the 1M BLACK but has a transfer (SPDT) contact — not interchangeable. Always check the type code AND colour.
