INTERIOR LAMPS — Logical Lighting — Wiring Diagram — With Power Door Lock (Supplement-VII)
EL-7031wiring diagramLogical lighting integrated into the door-lock CU (same architecture as Supplement-VI). Variant 'with power door lock' implies non-super-lock trim — uses the CENTRAL DOOR LOCK CONTROL UNIT.

With Power Door Lock
NOTE
Logical lighting (the fade-out interior lamp behaviour) is integrated into the CENTRAL DOOR LOCK CONTROL UNIT M44/M105. The CU:
• Reads driver door (R/G from M67) and passenger door (R from M64) status.
• Drives INTERIOR LAMP M152 ON/OFF via R/W output when DOOR position is selected on the lamp's own DOOR/OFF/ON switch.
• Applies fade-out logic — lamp stays on for N seconds after doors close, then ramps down.
CIRCUIT BREAKER protects the W/R battery-feed path to the CU (also used by power-door-lock actuators downstream).
WARNING
If logical lighting doesn't fade out (lamp goes off immediately when door closes), check the CU's timing — the R/G and R door-switch inputs may be reading as 'door open' even when closed (corroded switch, broken door-pin spring). If lamp stays on permanently, check the R/W output — CU may be stuck.
