Interior illumination wiring (DRL variant). The fuse-block-output connector M14 has SEVEN cells (3U/43U/24U/14U/25U/9U/7U) each carrying a separate illumination feed to one of the dash switches/units: • 3U R/L → SPORT MODE SWITCH M78 illumination (CVT only) • 43U R/L → HEATER CONTROL ILLUMINATION M27 • 24U R/L → HAZARD SWITCH M24 illumination • 14U LG → DRL CU input (LG returns from DRL CU as the illumination bus) • 25U R/L → REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER SWITCH M26 illumination • 9U R/W → AUDIO UNIT M22 illumination (audio-system variant) • 7U Y → COMBINATION METER M38 INSTRUMENT ILLUMINATION pin 15 DAYTIME LIGHT CONTROL UNIT M41/M42 sits in the path to gate the entire illumination bus — when DRL is active, dash illumination level can be modulated. LIGHTING SWITCH M53 master-controls the illumination bus (on only when in 1ST or 2ND position). New variants documented: C (with CVT — adds SPORT MODE SWITCH), AU (with audio system — adds audio illumination feed).
