L.H.D. Model — Base K11 trim
NOTE
Base K11 LHD horn + cig + clock wiring. Three independent power feeds:
• Battery via 10A fuse → CIGARETTE LIGHTER
• IGN-ACC/ON via 10A fuse → DIGITAL CLOCK (pins 3/4/5 of cluster) + ILLUMINATION
• Battery via 15A fuse → HORN RELAY coil
Horn switch routes through SLIP RING (clockspring) + AIR BAG CONTROL UNIT pins 8/7/12 (sense) + 10/9 (drive) — base K11 already used airbag-integrated horn switching. Two horn switches (LH + RH on hub) both ground the relay coil.
Cluster has dedicated DIGITAL CLOCK module on pins 3/4/5 — separate from combination meter logic. Supplement-VI/VII integrate this into the Unified Meter CU.
Same component architecture as Supplement-VI/VII, just earlier connector ID set.
WARNING
Horn passes through AIR BAG CONTROL UNIT — disconnecting the airbag harness (e.g. during steering-column service) breaks the horn circuit. Don't try to fix 'horn dead' by chasing the relay if you've recently been into the airbag system.
