EL-106prose procedureWiper amplifier is the INT-mode timer module — non-serviceable. Single pin (6) gives a continuous output when properly cycling, so a quick test-lamp ping is sufficient.

- 3After mounting motor and linkage, operate wipers and stop in auto-stop position, then fit wiper arm as described in "Wiper arm replacement".
UEL087 - 4Operate wipers and ensure that wipers return to correct park position and that assembly operates normally at all wiper switch positions without judder.
Front Wiper Motor Amplifier

NOTE
The Front Wiper motor amplifier is located in the engine bay, bolted to the vehicle body close to the wiper motor.
Wiper Amplifier Check
- 1Connect amplifier as shown.
UEL088 - 2If test lamp comes on when connected to terminal ⑥ and battery ground, wiper amplifier is normal.
NOTE
• If wiper amplifier is faulty, replace unit; the module is non-serviceable.
