AUDIO AND ANTENNA — Radio — Removal / Installation
EL-122prose procedureStandard double-bracket DIN radio install. Anti-theft code (EL-121) is the trap — many radios get stuck 'CODE' after this procedure if the owner doesn't have the wallet card.
Radio — Removal
- 1Remove negative battery cable from battery.
- 2Remove fixing screws from front dashboard fascia.
UEL091 - 3Press in fascia fixing wings and remove panel.
- 4Remove four fixing screws from radio mounting bracket.
- 5Disconnect antenna and power/speaker connectors from rear of radio.
- 6Remove radio.
Radio — Installation
NOTE
• Installation is the reverse procedure of removal.
WARNING
Removing the battery negative cable will trigger the anti-theft lockout on coded units (see EL-121). Have the 4-digit code ready before refitting.
