CAUTION
Be sure to set aiming switch to '0' when performing aiming adjustment on vehicles equipped with headlamp aiming control.
HEADLAMP SWITCH — Removal
To remove Headlamp aiming switch for replacement or testing purposes, press in plastic wing clips before removal.
NOTE
The aiming switch is a dash thumbwheel with positions 3/2/1/0 (0 = base/unloaded aim, higher numbers lower the beam for heavier loads). CRITICAL when setting headlamp aim: the aiming switch MUST be at '0' or the beam will be set relative to a non-base position. The switch is retained by plastic wing clips — pinch them to remove.
