HEADLAMP — Daytime Light System — Wiring Diagram (Supplement-VII)
EL-7016wiring diagramSupplement-VII DRL detail wiring. Two-connector DRL CU vs Supplement-VI single-connector — easier in-circuit diagnostics. Connector IDs (M14, M41/M42, M19/E37) differ from Supplement-VI.

NOTE
Full DRL wiring. Notable differences vs Supplement-VI DRL wiring:
• DAYTIME LIGHT CONTROL UNIT now has TWO connectors (M41 + M42) instead of one — split for ease of testing.
• Connector M14 (instead of M40 on Supplement-VI LHD) is the fuse-block-to-DRL-CU feed.
• Inline M19/E37 carries the DRL outputs into the engine room (was M148/E69 on Supplement-VI).
DRL-input wires:
• G/Y — Ignition ON or START via M14 cell 7U
• Y — Ignition START via M14 cell 5U
• R/B + G/R — alternator L + charge warning lamp feedback
• P — battery via 10A fuse
DRL outputs route through the LIGHTING SWITCH (so the user can override) before hitting the headlamps via M19/E37 inline. To-clearance/license/tail-lamps tap from the same DRL-CU output bus.
WARNING
DRL fault sequence: 1) check 10A fuses in positions 7 and 8 of fuse block, 2) check G/Y line into pin labelled G/Y of CU, 3) verify alternator L is active (engine running + battery good), 4) check DRL CU outputs at the 4 headlamp-bulb wires (LG/G/R/R/W/L/W).
