NOTE
Back door harness layout. Two harness segments meet at the tailgate hinge:
• Body harness No. 2 — last 5 connectors of the cabin-side harness (B1/B2 to main harness M71/M72, B4/B5 to back-door interfaces, B11 high-mounted stop lamp)
• Back door harness — internal tailgate wiring (D51-D60: lamp switch, wiper motor, license lamp, defogger, body grounds)
Interface points: D51 mates with B4 (tail-end of body harness), D58 mates with B5. The high-mounted stop lamp (B11) is on the body harness side, not the back-door side — meaning it's wired through the C-pillar / roof not via the tailgate gooseneck.
WARNING
Rear window defogger has dedicated earth connector D59 — separate from body ground D56/D60. If defogger is weak, check D59 specifically before blaming the grid.
