EXTERIOR LAMPS — Back-up Lamp — Wiring Diagram (Supplement-VII)
EL-7024wiring diagramBack-up lamp — same architecture as Supplement-VI but with CVT-named switches replacing N·CVT. Two transmission-variant switches share the same downstream wiring.

NOTE
Back-up lamp circuit. Two switch sources documented on the same page:
• M/T: REVERSE SWITCH E155 on transmission case — closes when reverse gear engaged.
• CVT: PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH E106 — same inhibit switch used by the starter circuit, but contact closes in R position to feed back-up lamps. Per state-table the switch is multi-position (P/R/N/D/3/4) with closures in P and N for starter and R for back-up.
Wire colour W (battery feed) enters the switch; gear-shift-controlled G/W output goes to both REAR COMBINATION LAMP BACK UP elements in parallel.
Variant legend introduces TWO transmission tags: C (CVT) and M (M/T) — same as power-supply-routing page.
WARNING
Both back-up lamps share the same G/W wire — if only one lamp lights, it's a bulb or socket issue, not the switch.
