Interior and Luggage Room Lamps / Wiring Diagram
NOTE
Non-logical-lighting (i.e. cars without super-lock CU) interior + luggage wiring. The INTERIOR LAMP has its own DOOR/OFF/ON switch; in DOOR position, either driver or passenger door switch grounds the lamp through DIODE M153 (which keeps the two door-switch paths electrically isolated).
LUGGAGE ROOM LAMP M76 is wired to its own switch M5 (mounted on the tailgate). Independent of the door-switch logic.
Both lamps draw battery feed (10A fuse position 24, R/L bus) through FUSE BLOCK CONNECTOR M14 cells 60U and 12Y.
WARNING
If interior lamp doesn't come on with either door, check DIODE M153 — a shorted diode lets one open door cancel out the lamp logic. An open diode means only one door triggers it.
