NOTE
Supplement-VII switches to a Bosch-supplied starter (Supplement-VI used the Mitsubishi/Hitachi unit). Construction is largely similar to the previous unit but the brush-holder mount + drain-tube layout are Bosch-specific.
Cold-spec models (Northern Europe / Russia trim) add the Reduction Gear Assembly between solenoid and pinion for higher starting torque at low temperature.
