WIPERS AND WASHERS — Front Wiper and Washer — Wiring Diagram — LHD Model (Supplement-VII)
EL-7046wiring diagramLHD front wiper. MIST + INT + LOW + HIGH + WASH 5-mode switch. Amplifier is separate module. Same architecture as Supplement-VI.
Front Wiper and Washer / Wiring Diagram
LHD Model
NOTE
LHD front-wiper wiring. Three speed paths: LOW (continuous slow), HIGH (continuous fast), INT (intermittent — via WIPER AMPLIFIER timing). MIST is a momentary single-wipe (push-stalk-away).
Fuses: 10A position 23 (wiper motor + amp) + 20A position 19 (washer pump — high inrush).
FRONT WIPER MOTOR M7 has built-in park-position switch — when wiper switch is OFF, the motor continues running until the wipers are at the park position, then the park switch opens to cut power.
FRONT WIPER RELAY M30 controls LOW vs HIGH speed selection — the switch state and the relay state together determine which motor brush is driven.
WIPER AMPLIFIER is a separate module (not integrated in cluster or in the switch) — provides the INT-mode timing pulse.
WARNING
INT-mode fault on Supplement-VII: if MIST/OFF/LOW/HIGH all work but INT does nothing, the wiper amplifier is the failure point — not the switch.
