NOTE
NATS = Nissan Anti-Theft System. The IMMU (Immobiliser Unit) reads a code from the ignition key transponder and authorises the ECCS Control Module to allow injection. Without a valid key, the engine cranks but won't fire. Also protects the audio system on coded radios. This circuit was also covered in Supplement-II (EL-7060+) — Supplement-VI consolidates it here.
WARNING
If NATS detects an invalid/missing key, the security indicator stays solid; pull the connector and the engine will not start until the IMMU is re-programmed with CONSULT-II.
