Clearance, License, Tail and Stop Lamps / Wiring Diagram
LHD Model — With Daytime Light System
NOTE
Exterior lamps wiring with DRL. The DRL CU (M41/M42) gates the clearance/license/tail feed alongside the headlamps — when DRL is active, clearance + tail lamps are also on. Wire colour codes:
• R/Y — Stop lamp bus (from STOP LAMP SWITCH M2)
• OR — Clearance lamp bus
• BR — Tail lamp bus (rear combination lamp TAIL element)
• P — Lighting-switch power feed
• SB — Sky Blue, alternate clearance feed
• L — Battery-side feed
Lighting switch M53 is the user override — position 1ST = clearance/tail/license only; position 2ND = + headlamps. STOP LAMP SWITCH M2 is independent of the lighting switch (brake-pedal triggered).
WARNING
If the brake-pedal stop lamps fail, check STOP LAMP SWITCH M2 first — Supplement-VII keeps the same R/Y bus from switch to rear combination + high-mounted. The high-mounted lamp shares the same R/Y wire.
