INTERIOR LAMPS — Illumination / Wiring Diagram — With Daytime Light System
EL-7029wiring diagramDaytime Light System variant routes the illumination bus through the DTL control unit; non-DTL variants (other pages) wire the bus straight to the switches.

With Daytime Light System
NOTE
Panel-illumination distribution: ignition switch ON or START feeds the 10A fuse [8] and fuse-block (3W trace) downstream of the master lighting switch. With the lighting switch in 1ST or 2ND, the R/L (illumination supply) and R/W (dimmer return) lines are energized and reach the sport-mode switch, heater control panel, hazard switch, audio unit, rear-window defogger switch, combination meter (pins 1 and 15) and the daytime-light control unit.

NOTE
Legend: C = With CVT (sport-mode switch only present on CVT), AU = With audio system (audio-unit illumination branch). The presence of the daytime-light control unit on the illumination bus means panel-illumination is gated by the DTL unit on cars that have it — e.g. dimmed differently when daytime running lamps are active.
