- 1Ensure the wiper arm is in the park position by switching wiper on and off.
- 2Remove battery negative cable from battery.
- 3Lift wiper arm nut cover and remove wiper arm nut.
- 4Prise wiper arm off drive pivot splines.
- 5Clean drive pivot splines with a stiff brush to reduce possibility of wiper arm looseness.
Rear Wiper Arm — Installation
- 1Prior to installation, ensure the wiper arm pivot is in the park position by switching wiper on and off.
- 2Remove battery negative cable from battery.
- 3Ensure drive pivot splines are clean.
- 4Lift the blade up and set it down onto glass to set the blade center to position before tightening the wiper arm nut.
- 5Eject washer fluid and turn on wiper switch to operate wiper motor.
NOTE
Ensure that wiper blade stops in location identified by the demister element. Ensure wiper operates smoothly at all speeds. Ensure wiper does not contact screen finisher. Ensure all fluid is removed from the screen in one sweep of the wiper.
