HEADLAMP — Headlamp Aiming Control — Schematic — With Daytime Light System (Supplement-VII)
EL-7018wiring diagramDRL-variant aim control. Slide-type 4-position switch + resistor ladder same as Supplement-VI. DRL CU mediates the aim-switch power so that DRL mode doesn't cut aim-motor function.

NOTE
Headlamp aiming control for DRL-equipped models. The aim switch is a 4-position slide that selects between four resistor-ladder taps; each tap commands the aiming motors (both RH and LH) to a different angle. DRL CU pins 1/3 monitor the lighting-switch state, pin 6 supplies the aim switch, pin 12 is the ignition feed. Aim signal is the same for both sides — there is no per-side aim adjustment.
WARNING
If both motors fail to respond to the switch, check the DRL CU first — pin 6 is the aim-switch supply. If only one motor responds, the fault is downstream of the switch (motor wiring or motor itself).
Resistor-ladder voltage outputs at the aim switch (carried over from Supplement-VI EL-6014): 3.7V at position 0, 6.0V at position 1, 8.7V at position 2, 11.0V at position 3 — verify with full-resolution table once the per-pin detail-wiring page is processed.
