Side Turn Signal Lamp — Bulb Replacement

    Remove battery negative cable from battery.
  2. 2
    Push down on side turn lamp holder to dislodge it from body aperture.
    Exploded view of the side turn signal lamp. Arrows indicate the car body aperture, the lampholder and bulb, and the lens, illustrating how the lampholder twists out and the lens cap removes.

    Twist off lens cap.
  4. 4
    Pull out defective bulb and replace.
    Bulb: 12V 5W
Push fit side turn lamp holder into body aperture to refit.

Combination Flasher Unit

The flasher unit is non-serviceable and can only be replaced as a complete unit.

Location

The flasher control unit is located on the steering column cross member.

Flasher Unit Check

Before checking ensure that standard bulbs are fitted.
Connect a battery and test lamp to the combination flasher unit as shown. Combination flasher unit is properly functioning if it blinks when power is supplied to the circuit.
