HEADLAMP — Aiming Adjustment

EL-58prose procedure

5 m / 65 mm drop is a 1.3% downward slope, the standard European low-beam tilt. UK 'driving on left' inverts the LH/RH kick of the beam pattern.

Aiming Adjustment

Low Beam

  1. 1
    Turn headlamp low beam on.
  2. 2
Use Top and Bottom adjusting screws to achieve horizontal and vertical aiming respectively.
    1. Main optical axis of headlamp beam can be adjusted by +/- 2° horizontally and +2°/-4° vertically.
    2. First tighten the adjusting screw all the way and then make adjustment by loosening the screw.
