WARNING LAMPS AND BUZZERS — Warning Lamps / Schematic
EL-92wiring diagramUnverifiedBrake warning lamp is wire-OR'd between parking-brake switch and brake-fluid-level switch — either will light the lamp. This is why a 'brake' warning sometimes means a low brake-fluid level rather than the handbrake being on. Worth checking both before condemning the lamp.

NOTE
Variant markers on this page:
• A.B.S. = Anti-lock braking system equipped models
• N·CVT = N·CVT equipped models
Six dash warning lamps share a single ignition-switched fuse rail; each is driven low (i.e. ground-side) by its respective sensor/control unit. ABS and N·CVT lamps are present only on equipped models. BRAKES lamp is wire-OR'd between two switches (parking brake + brake fluid level).
