INTERIOR LAMPS — Logical Lighting / Wiring Diagram — With Power Door Lock
EL-7031wiring diagramCDLCU mediates the interior-lamp 'DOOR' position — supports fade-out / delayed-off behaviour that would not be possible on the simpler door-switch-only circuit. Cars without power door lock use a different wiring (next page).

WITH POWER DOOR LOCK
NOTE
Interior-lamp "logical lighting" circuit on cars with power door lock. The central door lock control unit (CDLCU) gathers driver- and passenger-side door-switch inputs and operates the interior lamp through the DOOR contact, so the lamp can be programmed (e.g. fade-out delay) rather than being a hard wire to the door switches. Constant-battery feed via 80A + 30A fusible-link path and a circuit breaker; ignition-on feeds via two 10A fuses ([7] and [24]) provide CDLCU power and logic inputs.
