STARTING SYSTEM — Wiring Diagram (Cont'd) — LHD N-CVT and RHD N-CVT
EL-24wiring diagramCVT cars require the inhibitor switch + inhibitor relay interlock. Common failure: starter dead in P but works in N (or vice versa) usually means a worn inhibitor switch — not the relay.
Wiring Diagram (Cont'd) — N-CVT models
NOTE
N-CVT (Nissan Continuously Variable Transmission) starting-system wiring on K11. Same battery feed as M/T (30A fusible link → starter motor) but the ST command from the ignition switch is gated by an INHIBITOR RELAY whose output is in series with an INHIBITOR SWITCH (P/R/N/D/D2 contacts). Starter only cranks when the inhibitor switch is in P or N — the standard CVT/automatic interlock.
