BATTERY — Battery Test and Charging Chart (Cont'd) — Capacity Test (Chart II) (Base K11)
EL-19flowchartCapacity test (Chart II, base K11). Load test threshold 9.6V/15sec at battery-type-specific discharge current (90A for 28B19 up to 330A for 130E41). Battery JIS type codes mapped to test current.
Battery Test and Charging Chart (Cont'd) — Capacity Test (Chart II)
NOTE
Capacity test (Chart II) referenced from Chart I (EL-18). Two methods:
• Battery checker — follow manufacturer's instructions. OK = ready for use; N.G. = go to next step (recharge/replace).
• Load tester — read battery voltage while the specified discharge current flows for 15 seconds. Above 9.6 V = OK (ready for use); below 9.6 V = N.G. (go to next step).

WARNING
Load test threshold is 9.6 V under load for 15 seconds. The discharge current must match the battery type from the Fig.1 table — a 28B19 uses 90A, a 130E41 uses 330A. Using the wrong test current gives a false pass/fail.
