Check valve in front-washer line prevents fluid back-siphoning from the nozzles in winter — drains the line so it doesn't freeze. Direction-of-fitting is the most common refit error (will result in extremely sluggish washer response).

Washer Nozzle — Replacement

    To remove washer nozzle pull tubing off of check valve, pinch fixing lugs and push nozzle through bonnet aperture.
    Washer nozzle from below — Nozzle, Fixing lugs, Tubing.

    Push fit new nozzle, taking care not to damage surrounding point.
  3. 3
    Adjust nozzle to give correct spray pattern.
