HEADLAMP — Removal / Installation

Torque heading on the diagram says 'N·m (kg-m, ft-lb)' but only two numbers shown (4.4-6.5 / 0.45-0.65) — looks like the ft-lb column is missing. Captured both numbers per source.

Removal

    Remove battery negative earth cable from battery.

    Remove headlamp wiper arm (where fitted).
  3. 3
    Remove body front grille by releasing square-head fixing studs (2 off) and prising grille from body fasteners (see BF section for details).

    Remove lower fixing screw.
    Headlamp mounted in front nose — callouts for Nuts (2 off) 4.4-6.5 N·m (0.45-0.65 kg-m, ft-lb), Fixing screw (upper) 4.4-6.5 N·m, Fixing screw (lower) 4.4-6.5 N·m, and Fixing Grommet (locating rubber bush at the bottom corner).

    Remove lower and upper retaining nuts.

    Remove upper fixing screw.
  7. 7
    Remove electrical connectors from back of headlamp.
  8. 8
    Remove headlamp.

Installation

    Align headlamp with mountings and locate fixing grommet to position.
  2. 2
    Installation is the reverse process to removal, ensure fixing screws and nuts are fitted in the reverse order to removal and tightened to the specified torque figures.

    Check headlamp aiming is within specifications and adjust if necessary (see headlamp aiming procedure).
