EXTERIOR LAMPS — Rear Fog Lamp — Wiring Diagram (Supplement-VII)
EL-7028wiring diagramRear fog wiring. Two switch variants (WF/FF) on the same page — clean way to document the trim-dependent fog-switch geometry. Direct switch-to-lamp path, no relay.
Rear Fog Lamp / Wiring Diagram
NOTE
Rear-fog wiring. Two FOG LAMP SWITCH variants documented on the same page:
• WF (without front fog) — switch has only OFF/REAR positions. Rear fog can be turned on as long as lighting switch is at 2ND.
• FF (with front fog) — combines front+rear on one stalk position (OFF/FRONT/FRONT-AND-REAR). Same switch as on EL-7026.
RF (rear-fog sub-pin) of the FOG LAMP SWITCH connects directly to the G/W bus → both REAR COMBINATION LAMP REAR FOG elements in parallel + cluster REAR FOG indicator.
Unlike front fog, rear fog does NOT use a relay — direct 10A-fused switch path.
WARNING
Rear fog draws ~20 W per bulb × 2 = 40 W; the switch carries that load directly. If both rear-fog bulbs are out, suspect the 10A fuse in E33 first, then the switch contact (RF pin). If just one bulb is out, it's a bulb or harness fault — both lamps share the same G/W wire upstream.
