NOTE
Quick-charge procedure. Determine current + time from Fig.6, charge, then go to Capacity Test. Single-shot (no additional-charge step like slow/standard).

CAUTION
a. Do not use standard charge method on a battery whose specific gravity is less than 1.100.
b. Set charging current to value specified in Fig.6.
c. Keep battery away from open flame while charging.
d. When connecting charger, connect leads first, then turn on charger (spark risk).
e. Be careful of battery temperature rise — quick charge draws large current. Stop if temp rises above 60°C (140°F).
f. Do not exceed the charging time specified in Fig.6 — overcharging causes battery deterioration.
Service Data and Specifications (S.D.S.)
CAUTION
a. If it becomes necessary to start the engine with a booster battery and jumper cables, use a 12-volt booster battery.
b. After connecting battery cables, ensure that they are tightly clamped to battery terminals for good contact.
NOTE
K11 standard battery = 46B24R (L) — 12V, 36 Ah (B24 case size). Quick-charge time is SG-dependent (45 min if SG already above 1.220, up to 2.5h if deeply discharged). Never exceed the specified time.
