HARNESS LAYOUT — Engine Control Harness and Engine Harness No. 2 (Cont'd) — LHD With Diesel Engine (Supplement-VII)
EL-7101component photoDiesel engine harness. CSOLU + Glow plug + Pump sensor/solenoid + EGR-side sensors = diesel-specific. No injector/MAF/O2/spark plug connectors. EGR tag on duplicate-purpose sensors (water temp, VSS).

NOTE
Diesel engine harness routing. Distinct connector inventory vs gasoline (EL-7100):
• No injector connectors (diesel uses mechanical injection pump)
• No spark plug, camshaft/crankshaft position sensor, throttle position sensor, MAF, O2 sensor (diesel doesn't have these)
• Adds: Glow plug (E122), CSOLU (E132 — fuel-cut solenoid), Pump sensor (E149), Pump solenoid (E150)
• EGR-specific sensors: Water temperature sensor (EGR) E124, Vehicle speed sensor (EGR) E133
Two glow-plug connectors might exist (E122 and E120 from earlier — only E122 shown here). The CSOLU is the diesel kill-switch tied into NATS authorisation (see EL-7077 NATS wiring).
WARNING
Diesel-specific 'EGR' tag on certain sensors (E124, E133) indicates they're part of the EGR control system — common on Euro emission diesels. Standard sensors on gasoline (water temp, VSS) appear twice on diesel with separate EGR-side connectors.
