Check fuel pressure. CONSULT method: Start engine. With "WORK SUPPORT" showing on display, eliminate fuel pressure using "Fuel Pressure Removal". After stalling engine, crank engine two or three times. Install fuel pressure gauge and check fuel pressure. Fuel pressure during idle: Approx. 245 kPa (2.45 bar, 2.5 kg/cm², 36 psi). Fuel pressure (when pressure regulator vacuum hose is removed): Approx. 294 kPa (2.94 bar, 3.0 kg/cm², 43 psi). No-tool method: Start engine. Remove fuel pump fuse to eliminate fuel pressure. After stalling engine, crank engine two or three times. Install fuel pressure gauge and check fuel pressure. Fuel pressure during idle: Approx. 245 kPa (2.45 bar, 2.5 kg/cm², 36 psi). Fuel pressure (when pressure regulator vacuum hose is removed): Approx. 294 kPa (2.94 bar, 3.0 kg/cm², 43 psi)
