DTC Confirmation Procedure
NOTE
If "DTC Confirmation Procedure" has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch "OFF" and wait at least 1 second before conducting the next test.
With CONSULT-II
DTC Confirmation with CONSULT-II
- 1Turn ignition switch "ON".
- 2Select "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT-II.
- 3Start engine and wait at least 2 seconds.
SEF058Y - 4Rev engine from idle to 2,000 rpm 20 times. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to "DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE", EC-7204.
With GST
DTC Confirmation with GST
- 1Start engine and wait at least 2 seconds.
- 2Select "MODE 3" with GST.
- 3If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to "DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE", EC-7204.
