EF & EC-7073prose procedureMain Power Supply and Ground Circuit (Cont'd)
CG10, CGA3
Step 4 — CHECK POWER SUPPLY-II
- 1Stop engine.
- 2Check voltage between ECM terminals 26 and ground with CONSULT-II or tester. (See SEF982W)
- 3Voltage: Battery voltage.
- 4OK or NG: - OK → GO TO 6. - NG → GO TO 5.
Step 5 — DETECT MALFUNCTIONING PART
- 1Check the following: - Harness connectors F58, M184, M139 - 10A fuse - Harness for open or short between ECM and fuse
- 2→ Repair harness or connectors.
Step 6 — CHECK POWER SUPPLY-III
- 1Turn ignition switch "ON" and then "OFF".
- 2Check voltage between ECM terminal 54 and ground with CONSULT-II or tester. (See SEF653Z)
- 3Voltage: After turning ignition switch "OFF", battery voltage will exist for 1 second, then drop to approximately 0V.
- 4OK or NG: - OK → GO TO 14. - NG (Battery voltage does not exist.) → GO TO 7. - NG (Battery voltage exists for more than 1 second.) → GO TO 13.
