Check throttle sensor. With "WORK SUPPORT" showing on display, check to ensure "IDLE POSITION" for throttle sensor is "ON". Check to ensure throttle sensor output is approximately 0.5 volts during idle.

Check fast idle cam. Check throttle linkage and throttle valve. Check throttle sensor. Refer to "Throttle Sensor" (see page EF&EC-143).

Check AAC valve. Check to ensure idle speed decreases when throttle sensor connector is removed.

Check air intake for leaks. Start engine. Check to ensure engine speed increases when blow-by hose is pinched with fingers.
