Check exhaust gas sensor.
• Run engine at approximately 2,000 rpm after warm-up.
• Conduct "MIXTURE RATIO" test with "FUNCTION TEST" showing on display or proceed as follows:
• Select "EXH GAS SEN" with "DATA MONITOR" showing on display.
• Run engine at 2,000 rpm under no load after warm-up. Check to ensure display alternately shows "LEAN" and "RICH" at least 5 times within 10 seconds. RICH→LEAN→RICH→LEAN→RICH... (← 1 time → ← 2 times →)
• Set body-side diagnostic connector (inside fuse box) in "Exhaust gas sensor monitor" mode. (Refer to "Self-Diagnosis".)
• Run engine at 2,000 rpm under no load after warm-up.
• Check to ensure RED L.E.D. on E.C.U. flashes at least 5 times within 10 seconds.
