SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
System Description — Sensor/Input/Function/Actuator
Camshaft position sensor
Input Signal to ECMEngine speed
ECM functionHeated oxygen sensor 2 heater (rear) control
ActuatorHeated oxygen sensor 2 heater (rear)
The ECM performs ON/OFF control of the heated oxygen sensor 2 heater (rear) corresponding to the engine speed.
OPERATION
HO2S2 Heater Operation by Engine Condition
Engine stopped (ignition switch "ON")
Heated oxygen sensor 2 heater (rear)OFF
Engine is running at idle.
Heated oxygen sensor 2 heater (rear)ON
Engine is running at idle.
Heated oxygen sensor 2 heater (rear)OFF
CONSULT-II Reference Value in Data Monitor Mode
Specification data are reference values.
CONSULT-II Data Monitor — HO2S2 HTR
HO2S2 HTR (B1)
CONDITIONEngine speed at idle

CONDITIONIgnition switch ON (Engine stopped)
SPECIFICATIONOFF
ECM Terminals and Reference Value
Specification data are reference values and are measured between each terminal and ground.
CAUTION
Do not use ECM ground terminals when measuring input/output voltage. Doing so may result in damage to the ECM's transistor. Use a grond other than ECM terminals, such as the ground.
