MODE I - BULB CHECK
NOTE
In this mode, the RED L.E.D. in the E.C.U. stays "ON". If it remains "OFF" check RED L.E.D.
MODE I - MALFUNCTION WARNING

ConditionWhen the E.C.U.'s C.P.U. is malfunctioning.
OFF
ConditionO.K.
NOTE
The RED L.E.D. will turn off when normal condition is detected.
Self-diagnosis - Mode II (Self-diagnostic results)
DESCRIPTION
NOTE
In this mode, a malfunction code is indicated by the number of flashes from the RED L.E.D. as shown below:
Long (0.6 second) blinking indicates the number of ten digits and short (0.3 second) blinking indicates the number of single digits.
For example, the red L.E.D. flashes once for 0.6 seconds and then it flashes twice for 0.3 seconds. This indicates the number "12" and refers to a malfunction in the air flow meter. In this way, all the problems are classified by their code numbers.
