Adjust idle speed by turning idle speed adjusting screw (IAS). Turn the IAS clockwise to decrease idle speed; counterclockwise to increase idle speed.

Race engine (2,000-3000 rpm) 2 or 3 times under no-load and then run engine at idle speed.

Check ignition timing with a timing light. 15° ± 2° B.T.D.C.
