DTC Confirmation Procedure

NOTE

If "DTC Confirmation Procedure" has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch "OFF" and wait at least 9 seconds before conducting the next test.

IMPORTANT

TESTING CONDITION: Before performing the following procedure, confirm that battery voltage is more than 10.5V.

With CONSULT-II

DTC Confirmation with CONSULT-II

Turn ignition switch "ON".

Select "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT-II.

Start engine and wait at least 10 seconds.

If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to "Diagnostic Procedure", EC-7183.

With GST

DTC Confirmation with GST

Start engine and wait at least 10 seconds.

Select "MODE 7" with GST.

If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to "Diagnostic Procedure", EC-7183.
