DTC P0120 THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR; ECM Terminals and Reference Value; On Board Diagnosis Logic; DTC Confirmation Procedure
EF & EC-7091spec tableThrottle position fully depressed reads 4.10-4.30 V here (matches CONSULT-II monitor); prior ECM Inspection Table 5 (EF & EC-7069) had 4.10-4.80 V — values not identical across pages; preserved verbatim per page.
CG10, CGA3
ECM Terminals and Reference Value
Specification data are reference values and are measured between each terminal and ground.
CAUTION
Do not use ECM ground terminals when measuring input/output voltage. Doing so may result in damage to the ECM's transistor. Use a grond other than ECM terminals, such as the ground.

DTC Confirmation Procedure
NOTE
If "DTC Confirmation Procedure" has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch "OFF" and wait at least 1 second before conducting the next test.
With CONSULT-II
- 1Turn ignition switch "ON" and select "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT-II.
- 2Start engine and wait for at least 2 consecutive seconds.
- 3If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to "Diagnostic Procedure", EC-7094.
With GST
- 1Start engine and maintain the following conditions for at least 2 consecutive seconds.
- 2Select "MODE 7" with GST.
- 3If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to "Diagnostic Procedure", EC-7094.
