8. Check A.A.C. valve. With CONSULT: • Start engine. • Conduct "A.A.C. VALVE" test with "FUNCTION TEST" showing on display. • Check to ensure control duty ratio is in the 80 - 20% range and engine speed changes at least 150 rpm or proceed as follows: • Start engine. • Select "A.A.C. Valve Position" with "ACTIVE TEST" showing on display. • Touch "Qu" and "Qd" to ensure engine speed changes with A.A.C. valve position (in percentage). Without CONSULT: • Start engine. • Check to ensure engine speed decreases when A.A.C. valve connector is removed.
