DTC Confirmation Procedure

CAUTION

Always drive vehicle at a safe speed.

NOTE

If "DTC Confirmation Procedure" has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch "OFF" and wait at least 1 second before conducting the next test.

PROCEDURE FOR MALFUNCTION A

With CONSULT-II

Turn ignition switch "ON".

Select "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT-II.

Start engine and wait for at least 2 seconds.

If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to "Diagnostic Procedure", EC-7080.

With GST

1
Turn ignition switch "ON".

Select "MODE 7" with GST.
3
Start engine and wait at least 2 seconds.
4
If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to "Diagnostic Procedure", EC-7080.
