Step 4 — DETECT MALFUNCTIONING PART

    Check the harness for open or short between intake air temperature sensor.
  2. 2
    → Repair open circuit or short to ground or short to power in harness or connectors.

Step 5 — CHECK INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

  1. 1
    Refer to "Component Inspection", EC-7085.
  2. 2
    OK or NG: - OK → GO TO 6. - NG → Replace intake air temperature sensor.

Step 6 — CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT

  1. 1
    Perform "TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS FOR INTERMITTENT INCIDENT", EC-7070.
  2. 2
    → INSPECTION END.

Check resistance as shown in the figure. (See SEF616Z)
