Step 4 — DETECT MALFUNCTIONING PART
- 1Check the harness for open or short between intake air temperature sensor.
- 2→ Repair open circuit or short to ground or short to power in harness or connectors.
Step 5 — CHECK INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR
- 1Refer to "Component Inspection", EC-7085.
- 2OK or NG: - OK → GO TO 6. - NG → Replace intake air temperature sensor.
Step 6 — CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
- 1Perform "TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS FOR INTERMITTENT INCIDENT", EC-7070.
- 2→ INSPECTION END.
