DTC P0141 HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR 2 HEATER (REAR); DTC Confirmation Procedure; Overall Function Check
EF & EC-7150prose procedureP0141 is the HO2S2 HEATER fault, yet the Overall Function Check on this page tests the HO2S2 signal at ECM terminal 39 (not heater terminal 30) — preserved verbatim. SEF662Z probe figure also shows terminal 39 (signal). Likely a documentation reuse from P0137.

DTC Confirmation Procedure
NOTE
If "DTC Confirmation Procedure " has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch "OFF" and wait at least 1 second before conducting the next test.
With CONSULT-II
- 1Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature. If 1st trip DTC is detected go to "Diagnostic Procedure", EC-7153
- 2Turn ignition switch "OFF" and wait at least 1 second
- 3Turn ignition switch "ON" and select "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT-II.
- 4Start engine and drive vehicle at a speed of more than 70 to 100 km/h (43 to 62 MPH) for 3 consecutive minutes.
- 5If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to "Diagnostic Procedure", EC-7153.
Overall Function Check
Use this procedure to check the overall function of the heated oxygen sensor 2 (rear) circuit. During this check, a 1st trip DTC might not be confirmed.
With GST
- 1Start engine and warm up engine to normal operating temperature.
- 2Stop engine and wait at least 1 second.
- 3Set voltmeter probes between ECM terminals 39 and ground.
- 4Restart engine and check the voltage when revving engine up to 4,000 rpm under no load at least 10 times. (Depress and release accelerator pedal as soon as possible.) The voltage should be below 0.56V at least once during this procedure.
- 5If NG, go to "Diagnostic Procedure", EC-7153.
