DTC P0110 INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR; Diagnostic Procedure; Steps 1-3
EF & EC-7084prose procedureStep 3 source says 'sensor harness connector terminal 14' which mismatches the sensor's 1-5 pin layout shown in SEF656Z — likely refers to terminal in the IAT side (possibly terminal 3 of the MAFS-IAT connector for IAT-specific ground). Captured verbatim from page.
Diagnostic Procedure
CG10, CGA3
Step 1 — CHECK POWER SUPPLY
- 1Turn ignition switch "OFF".
- 2Disconnect mass air flow sensor harness connector. (See NEF150A)
- 3Turn ignition switch "ON".
- 4Check voltage between terminal 1 and ground with CONSULT-II or tester. (See SEF656Z)
- 5Voltage: Approximately 5 V.
- 6OK or NG: - OK → GO TO 3. - NG → GO TO 2.
Step 2 — DETECT MALFUNCTIONING PART
- 1Check the following: - Harness for open or short between ECM and intake air temperature sensor
- 2→ Repair harness or connectors.
Step 3 — CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
- 1Turn ignition switch "OFF".
- 2Disconnect ECM harness connector.
- 3Check harness continuity between intake air temperature sensor harness connector terminal 14 and ECM terminal 14. Refer to wiring diagram. Continuity should exist.
- 4Also check harness for short to ground and short to power.
- 5OK or NG: - OK → GO TO 5. - NG → GO TO 4.
